To provide a psychological therapy service to service users within CONNECT: The West Yorkshire Adult Eating Disorder service. To provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy for individuals with eating disorders, but also those who present with other physical and mental health difficulties, including trauma presentations. To offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues, external agencies and to family/ carers. To offer clinical supervision to psychological therapists and other members of the MDT, including assistant psychologist and Trainee Psychologists/ therapists. To enhance psychological thinking within the MDT and support the psychological health of the service. Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service. To provide a key role in psychological aspects of service development. You should be able demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adaptable in your approach as well as being innovative, dynamic and enthusiastic in working collaboratively with a skilled and experienced MDT.
