Your Role
As a Chef de Partie, you’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining and improving food quality across all areas of the kitchen. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior chefs and supporting the daily operations of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Review and plan the day’s menu with the Head or Junior Sous Chef each morning.
Supervise and assist with food prep and mise-en-place for lunch and dinner service.
Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Coach and support Junior Chefs and Commis Chefs.
Carry out any additional tasks as directed by the Head Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or senior management.
About You
GCSEs or equivalent
Level 2 Food Safety in Catering or Level 2 Food Preparation qualification
Minimum 1 year’s experience as a chef (CDP or strong Commis Chef ready to step up)
Previous experience in a branded hotel kitchen is highly desirable
Passionate about fresh food, teamwork, and service excellence
