Live-In Complex Care Worker Position - SN14

Location: SN14 area, Lower Stanton St Quintin

Salary: £1189.44 per week

Schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Apply today for this great live-in care assistant position and make a difference! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate female Live-In Complex Care Worker to provide support for an individual with a diagnosis of Congenital Myopathy with likely Hypocalcaemic periodic paralysis. This position follows a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off schedule and requires experience in complex care.

The Role

  • Provide 12 hours of complex care per day, with the remainder of the time as your own.

  • Assist with daily living activities, focusing on the specific needs arising from the client's diagnosis.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Essential experience in complex care.

  • Experience in elderly care.

  • Proficiency in ventilation support.

  • Competence in blood pressure monitoring.

  • Manual handling training and experience, including the use of hoists for mobilization (bed to chair and vice versa).

  • Ability to monitor oxygen saturation levels.

  • Other care-related skills as required.
