The Nursery at Killingworth Way is a brand new purposely build day care based near PaddlePod Killingworth. Alike our outstanding other nursery The Nursery at Whitehouse Farm We ensure to create a friendly home-like atmosphere that supports our children and employees to feel comfortable and relaxed. Our facilities are unique, giving children the opportunity to attend swimming lessons. All our activities are tailored to help, teach and inspire children.

Role and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for a small group of Key children ensuring they feel safe and secure at nursery.
As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met working together with the children's family.
Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
Enjoy working in an environment where no 2 days are the same, have fun, sing, get messy and not be afraid to be silly.
Essential Criteria:
A full and relevant level 3 qualification in childcare in line with the DfE guidelines.
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
Excellent communication skills and able to work well as part of a team in a fast pace environment
Enhanced DBS check and 2 suitable references is required to seek employment in line with safer recruitment.
