Research and External Engagement (REE) is a newly integrated professional service, championing the University’s mission to advance research excellence, foster innovation, and enhance skills and enterprise. We support our students, empower regional workforce development, and deepen connections with alumni, business, and community partners.
Through pioneering research, experiential learning, civic engagement, strategic collaboration, and inclusive skills delivery, REE is helping people thrive in a changing world.
UWE Bristol is proud to be an established provider of Higher and Degree-level apprenticeships. To grow our provision, the University has created a dedicated Centre for Apprenticeships within the REE service. The Centre leads our work with employer partners, supports programme development, ensures compliance with external governance, and champions excellent service to employers, apprentices and wider stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us during a period of ambitious growth, shaping UWE Bristol’s impact as a leading apprenticeship provider across the region and nationally.
The Role: Apprenticeship Progress Training Coordinator
As a valued member of the Centre for Apprenticeships, you will support apprentices within your assigned programme cluster. You will build meaningful relationships with apprentices and their employers, helping learners to succeed in their chosen pathways.
You will bring a strong grasp of apprenticeship compliance, including delivering regular tripartite progress reviews and monitoring off-the-job training. You’ll also contribute to ongoing programme enhancement, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all apprentices.
Where You'll Be Based
This role is located at our vibrant Frenchay campus, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and resources to empower both staff and students to thrive
