Key Responsibilities:
Goods Receiving & Stock Management:
Unload deliveries and accurately check incoming stock against purchase orders.
Sort, label, and organize products for easy access and efficient order fulfillment.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
Order Picking & Packing:
Pick and pack event furniture and accessories as per customer orders, ensuring products are handled with care and securely packed.
Prepare orders for delivery, ensuring timely dispatch in line with customer deadlines.
Ensure correct documentation is included with all orders (e.g., delivery notes, invoices).
Inventory Control:
Monitor stock levels and inform the Warehouse Manager of any low-stock items.
Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation to ensure products are in top condition.
Health & Safety:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal safety and the safety of colleagues.
Report any equipment faults or health & safety concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other warehouse operatives, drivers, and office staff to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively to meet customer deadlines and resolve any issues that may arise.
