Crynodeb
To support the work of the Perinatal Mental Health Service through the provision of high quality, evidence based nursery nursing care interventions to mothers and infants who meet the eligibility criteria under the supervision of a Clinical clinicians or qualified Allied Health Professional. To work with other Perinatal Mental Health Service clinicians, providing nursery nursing input to a defined group of mothers, their babies and families providing support and assistance in both Antenatal and postnatal period. To work collaboratively within the wider Perinatal Mental Health Service team complimenting the ongoing interventions of clinicians and ensuring the infants welfare is paramount at all times. To work collaboratively with the mother and to provide specialist clinical interventions to clients, infants and families experiencing perinatal mental illness. To ensure an assessment of the baby or children is conducted and documented upon every contact. To ensure regular monitoring of physical health and developmental milestones are undertaken in conjunction with the Health Visiting service. To ensure that a mothers involvement is fully promoted and that they are consulted about the care being given to their baby or children
