Consequently, the opportunity has arisen to expand our workforce by recruiting four motivated and enthusiastic HCPC registered band 5 Biomedical Scientists to join our dynamic and friendly Blood Sciences team at Epsom & St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.As a Biomedical Scientist you will be supported to develop a wide variety of skills within the Blood Sciences Laboratories which can include Haematology, Blood Transfusion medicine, Clinical Chemistry, Special Haematology and morphology.The Blood Sciences laboratories offer the opportunity to work in a well-equipped environment with the latest cutting edge automation. Successful candidates will also benefit from developing skills in manual techniques for some of the more esoteric analysis in the Blood Sciences test repertoire.The successful candidates will be expected to rotate through all laboratory sections. Applications are sought from self-motivating individuals with previous experience in the relevant disciplines.Applicants must have a desire to learn and develop and we will do the rest. The successful candidate must be committed to maintaining pathology services at Epsom & St Helier. You must be HCPC registered, competent working within your professional boundaries, while maintaining your development and career.
