Salary: Up to £27,295 plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday ( 8am - 4.30pm, including 30 min unpaid break)

Location: Moat Lane Depot, Moat Lane, Solihull, B91 2LW

What you'll be doing;

  • Perform data entry tasks related to workshop job cards and maintain accurate records.
  • Organize and manage all fleet and workshop-related documentation and paperwork systematically.
  • Collaborate with the Workshop Manager to ensure all documentation meets compliance standards and regulations.
  • Process and track invoices, purchase orders, and incoming deliveries with precision and attention to detail.
  • Handle payroll data entry with accuracy and ensure timely processing of all employee time records.
  • Record and document meeting proceedings, including detailed minutes and action items.
  • Monitor and update contract safety documentation to maintain current compliance status.
  • Attend and actively contribute to contract review meetings and staff gatherings.
  • Maintain communication with council representatives regarding work progress and resolution of customer complaints.
  • Support the Contract Manager in preparing and compiling monthly financial reports and accounts.
  • Provide administrative support for transport-related operations and documentation.

What we're looking for;

Essential:

  • GCSE level Maths and English or equivalent, with Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft/Google packages.
  • Excellent organisational, adept with using a flexible approach and exceptional attention to detail skills.
  • Professional and confidential conduct, with polite and assertive verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure and ability to work to strict time control constraints.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain solid relationships with the team and stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Strong and current working knowledge of payroll systems.
  • Experience of working within a busy office environment.
  • Awareness of GDPR legislation and regulations.
