- Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm
HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Samples Operative to join our client's leading fabric design business, renowned for offering luxury wallpapers and accessories to customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and cut stock to fulfil sample orders, checking for quality and paying due regard to health and safety requirements
- Record information in written form and on the computer system and use the system to manage the ordering and distribution of samples
- Manual handling of stock, utilising two man lifts and sack trucks where appropriate
- Assisting with the picking, labelling, packing and shipping of samples to customers
- General department administrative tasks including post room duties
- Assist with maintenance duties for the site
Essential Skills:
- Ability to drive the company vans between sites, preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
