Hours: full time, 37 hours over 5 days  
Location: Hadfield Road, Cardiff, CF63 4HB
Salary: Grade 5 £26,375 rising to £29540 per annum.

Improving lives through learning – join our team at ACT!

We’re looking for a passionate and adaptable Skills Tutor to support young people aged 16–19 on our Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) programme.

You’ll deliver a range of engaging sessions focused on essential skills (maths, English, life skills), as well as enrichment and well-being activities including mini projects, volunteering, enterprise tasks, and community schemes. These activities are designed to build confidence, develop key skills, and help learners progress into training or employment.

What you’ll do:

Deliver creative, learner-focused sessions that support well-being and skill development

Challenge and support all ability levels with tailored learning

Help learners explore accessible career paths and future opportunities

Provide hands-on learning experiences and keep learner plans up to date

Travel between centres as needed

Attend team meetings and staff development
