About this role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Student Voice and Academic Policy Team as a Policy Officer. The team sits within Academic Services and plays a vital role in shaping the student experience at UWE Bristol.

In this varied and stimulating role, you’ll support the coordination and delivery of activities relating to student voice, academic policies and academic regulations. Whether delivering briefings, analysing student feedback or coordinating small to medium-scale projects and initiatives, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the University and the Students’ Union. You’ll also support others within the team with key institutional initiatives, giving you valuable exposure to work across the University with meaningful impact.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is confident managing processes and projects and wants to contribute to shaping an inclusive and high-quality student experience.

You’ll join a friendly and supportive team with a shared commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

About you

You will bring broad administrative experience of working in a complex organisation, ideally within the education sector and have strong coordination and organisational skills. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities and will bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work.

Your communication skills will enable you to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders, including students, professional services staff and academic colleagues. You will be confident analysing feedback or data, summarising trends and producing clear, accessible reports to support decision-making.

You are someone who values inclusivity and collaboration, and you’ll have a strong desire to support positive change that enhances the experience of our students.
