Crynodeb
The Service Manager is responsible for supporting the management of the day to day PETCT service. This includes arranging staff rotas, patient bookings, radiopharmaceutical provision, patient administrations, daily equipment QC and equipment selection Management of the service includes continuous improvement and development of the service through the quality system, which is registered to ISO 9001:2000. The post holder has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the PETCT service team. The post holder is the lead trainer in PETCT and is responsible for ensuring the team has been adequately trained in their duties including use of equipment, handling radioactive material and basic life support as well providing appropriate structured training for new staff or trainees in the field of PETCT. This role will work closely with the Service Lead for Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT, the Head of Nuclear Medicine, Technologists and Radiographers in PET and the PET admin team. The post holder must be a registered Radiographer or Clinical Technologist.
