We are seeking to appoint 5 x Waste Operatives to join the Environmental Services Division.



You will be required to carry out domestic, trade, recycling and bulky collections along with any other duties of a similar nature related to this post throughout the Borough of Darlington, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times.



The working week is 37 hours, predominantly working 4 days per week starting at 7am between Tuesday to Friday. Occasional Mondays and weekends are also required to meet the needs of the service.



The ability to use appropriate equipment, undertake various manual handling duties and walk long distances is essential. You must also be able to communicate effectively with members of the public and colleagues.
