Due to expansion, TRT Welding Services are seeking to recruit a fully experienced and qualified fork lift truck driver to join our existing team.

Using up to a 3 ton vehicle you will assist existing drivers in moving our manufactured steel pallets and materials in and around our workshops and yard as and when required as well as occasionally assist in the loading and unloading of materials from delivery vehicles.

You will be expected to provide current valid certificates to demonstrate your qualifications - we will only accept applicants with valid certificates as an immediate start is required.

Duties:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products predominately mild steel
- Transport materials and products to designated areas in the warehouse or production facility/welding bays
- Stack and organize materials and products in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse production setting essential

- Experience in use of forklift turntables to rotate products advantageous to reduce manual handling
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and best practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members

Hours of work are 38 paid hours per week Monday to Friday.

7.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 1.30pm Friday
