We are recruiting for a Senior Paediatric Audiologist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We are undergoing a transformational change with investment in facilities, equipment and staff so this is an exciting time to join this team. As a department we put an emphasis on the development of our staff and regularly send members of our team on external training courses.

This vacancy is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in more than just the core audiology work and training is available for staff to develop their interests in Adult Rehabilitation, Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and Vestibular Assessment.

The successful candidate will carry out the routine Tympanometry with, Acoustic Reflexes (Ipsi and Contra Lateral) and Reflex Decay for all age groups.

You will also write full and comprehensive vestibular reports for Doctors including a provisional diagnosis.

The post holder will be required to carry out Counselling for Hearing Aid users.

You will assist, supervise and train audiology staff, ensuring service needs are met and provide instructions/seminars in audiological techniques where necessary.

Applicants must hold a BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualifications. Experience within paediatric audiology is preferred. Applicants should also have, or be able to achieve AHCS registration, and membership of BAA while not essential is desirable.
