About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive and cutting-edge University in a truly beautiful location, where you can make a real difference.

Exciting, challenging and diverse; the role of Procurement Analyst is to support stakeholders from across the organisation to buy the right goods/works/services in accordance with our Policies and processes.

With existing procurement experience, you will be confident and commercially aware with strong communication skills. You will use these skills to deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, you will have experience of interpreting and manipulating data to transform it into actionable information to inform sourcing decisions.

A relevant procurement qualification or equivalent is desirable. This role would be suitable for a procurement professional seeking to progress their career, and the University is committed to supporting professional development and attainment of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) qualifications.

Working alongside the Senior Procurement Manager to develop and execute Category Plans you will be confident participating in tendering activities, developing supplier relationships and negotiating best value.
