We’re recruiting Class 1 HGV drivers to support peak operations at GXO in London Gateway, near Tilbury. You’ll be delivering products on behalf of Currys to retail stores and customer service centres. These roles offer ongoing work with fixed shift patterns, ideal for drivers seeking stability and long-term opportunities.
Pay Rates:
Days 02:00 – 16:00: £18.19 per hour
Nights 16:00 – 02:00: £19.21 per hour
Weekends: £20.23 to £21.25 per hour
All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
Start times and shift patterns will be:-
Day Drivers: 5 on 3 off, start times between 05:00 to 08:00
Night Drivers: 5 on 3 off, start times between 17:00 to 20:00
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years of recent HGV driving experience required
No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
