We are looking to appoint a Procurement and Contracts Officer to lead and deliver high-impact, value-driven procurement and contract management services across the Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a Trust-wide procurement strategy, secure cost efficiencies, and
About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will:
- Lead procurement projects and develop the Trust’s procurement strategy
- Drive cost-efficiencies across all non-pay expenditure
- Manage supplier performance, tender processes, and contract negotiations
- Provide expert guidance on procurement best practices and compliance
- Maintain an accurate register of contracts and manage key supplier relationships
- Identify and secure additional funding opportunities through successful bid writing
You’ll play a pivotal role in helping the Trust maximise value for money, ensure compliance with procurement regulations, and support long-term financial sustainability.
About You:
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in procurement, contract management or similar roles
- Is highly organised with strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Possesses excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Is confident working independently and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
- Holds or is willing to gain a relevant procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS)
- Has knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks and regulations (desirable)
