Randstad is seeking a dedicated and experienced SPLD Study Skills Tutor to support students at West Herts College. This is a part-time, flexible role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experience.

Responsibilities

As an SPLD Study Skills Tutor, you will:

  • Develop and deliver tailored learning support plans for students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs) and Autism.

  • Help students build effective study habits, time management, and academic strategies.

  • Work collaboratively with college staff to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

  • Utilise online teaching tools to deliver engaging and accessible support.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Creating and implementing individualised learning plans.

  • Providing one-to-one and small group tutoring sessions.

  • Monitoring student progress and adapting support as needed.

  • Using digital platforms and learning technologies to enhance delivery.

Experience & Skills Required

We're looking for individuals who have:

  • Proven experience supporting students with SPLDs and/or Autism.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

  • A commitment to inclusive and student-centered education.

  • Relevant qualifications and professional experience.

  • Membership of a recognised professional body (PATOSS, BDA, PASSHE, ADHSE, Dyslexia Guild) is preferred.
