We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Swindon to assist with the appointment of a Waste Collector, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.26 - £17.17 per hour
Responsibilities:
Load and collect domestic waste and recycling in a safe and responsible manner
Work outdoors in all weather conditions, performing physically demanding, repetitive tasks
Report to the supervisor at the start and end of each shift
Accurately complete paperwork and assist with route planning
Assist and train new staff in waste collection procedures
Essential Requirements:
Experience in collecting and recycling waste materials
Basic literacy and numeracy
High level of physical fitness and sensory awareness
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and in difficult weather conditions
Team player with good communication skills
Awareness of risks (e.g. needles, chemicals, hazardous waste)

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
