Job Overview
-To ensure the correct collection and delivery of clean and soiled items to and from the Laundry Store and Changerooms across Sellafield Site and LLWR.
Main Duties
-Perform vehicle checks at the start of each day, following company policies and procedures.
-Record any vehicle faults on vehicle checklist and report to Laundry Supervisor.
-Load & Unload Laundry Vehicle at Non Active Laundry ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, site security, and Health & safety requirements.
-Load & Unload Laundry Vehicle at Medium Active Laundry ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, site security, and Health & safety requirements.
-Load & Unload Laundry Vehicle at different Changerooms located across Sellafield Site and LLW ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, site security, and Health & safety requirements.
-Load Laundry Cages ready for transfer on to Laundry Vehicle.
-Load & Unload Laundry Cages from Laundry Vehicle to designated loading areas using lift and lower tail lift.
-Ensure efficient delivery and allocation of Laundry to and from the Laundry and Changerooms.
-Assisting in stores activities including daily preparation for the monitoring.
What we are looking for
-Previous experience of stock control.
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
-Strong customer care focus.
-Full clean driving license with category C1 / C+E.
