Summary
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, youll play a pivotal role in our dynamic procurement team, supporting the ongoing development and performance of your own team, while leading the Corporate category within our department. Joining us on a full time 37.5 hour per week basis, you will work in a hybrid capacity, working remotely with 1-2 days per week within our London office. Your day-to-day... Lead a team of 3 Strategic Buyers responsible for categories including: Care, Digital Services, and Soft Facilities Management. Work with and mentor your team to Analyse, prepare business cases and implement procurement led improvements. Support your team to assist key stakeholders in contract management of suppliers. Encourage and support your team to Improve supplier performance. Actively manage suppliers and cost base. Work closely with the senior management team to manage budgets and the direction of the department. Manage your own Corporate Category responsible for areas including but not limited to: Insurance, Legal, Training, Business Travel & Accommodation, Contracts & Policies. Ensure all group policies & procedures are adhered to. You are... An experienced Procurement professional, ideally with a background of indirect procurement. A team leader with the ability to coach and mentor a small team. A strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to deliver value and innovation through procurement. Able to drive strategic change, prepare business cases and improve supplier performance Skilled in contract negotiation, supplier management and sourcing strategy, with a clear understanding of the full procurement lifecycle. Highly analytical, able to interpret data to drive procurement decisions, influence stakeholders and monitor supplier performance. An excellent communicator, confident in engaging with senior stakeholders. Operational colleagues and external suppliers. A self-starter, comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, purpose driven organisation. Highly detail-oriented & an expert on sourcing & buying indirect on a large-scale Solution-minded, flexible in thinking & willing to learn. Why Cygnet?
