Deputy Home Manager | Up to £32,000 | Specialist Residential Service for Adults with Brain Injury

Our client, a specialist residential service supporting adults with acquired brain injuries is looking for a dedicated Deputy Home Manager to help lead its well-established and high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior leadership role in a service focused on rehabilitation and long-term care, where meaningful progress and person-centred support are at the heart of everything they do.

As Deputy Home Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the home. This includes ensuring safe, effective care delivery, supervising and developing staff, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in line with CQC and statutory regulations. You'll have a strong presence on the floor while also taking ownership of operational responsibilities and quality assurance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum requirement)
  • Proven experience in a deputy home manager role within a residential setting
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and statutory care standards
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience working with individuals with brain injuries or complex needs (preferred)
  • Confident communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and high standards of care

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to care and support staff
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and rehabilitation
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and compliance with CQC and statutory requirements
  • Support with audits, staff development, and service improvement initiatives
  • Act as a key point of contact for professionals, families, and external agencies
  • Lead by example in promoting dignity, respect, and independence for residents
  • Step into the Registered Manager’s role when required
