We are looking for a dedicated and proactive KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stage 2
Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning and boost confidence
Assist with classroom preparation, displays, and general administrative tasks
Provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs, where required
Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, respectful learning environment
Support pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and school activities as needed
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in KS2
A genuine passion for education and pupil development
Strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – a TA qualification is desirable but not essential
