We are seeking a proactive and organised Transport Administrator/Planner to join a busy and dynamic team in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in transport or logistics, or an entry-level candidate eager to start a career in the industry. The role is temporary to permanent, offering a fantastic chance to become a long-term part of a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the PM team to ensure the smooth daily running of the transport operation.
Support and manage drivers throughout their shifts.
Act as the main point of contact for drivers and customers, handling queries via phone and email.
De-brief day drivers when they return.
Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure seamless coordination between departments.
Verify all scanning documentation for accuracy and completeness.
What We're Looking For
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence using IT systems, email, and messaging platforms.
A proactive, team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
