Our client is a long-established and growing business based on the outskirts of Stafford. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for a talented Credit Controller to join their friendly, supportive team.

THE ROLE
As a Credit Controller, you will play a key part in managing and maintaining a busy ledger of live accounts. Day-to-day, you’ll be:
• Chasing overdue payments and resolving invoice queries promptly.
• Raising invoices, processing debit/credit notes, and allocating cash.
• Carrying out credit checks and petty cash reconciliations.
• Building strong relationships with a variety of clients – from small businesses to major corporations.
• Managing complex accounts that require exceptional attention to detail.
• Opening new accounts and assisting with general administrative tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Credit Controller who enjoys taking ownership of their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this Credit Controller role, you should have:
• 2–3 years’ experience in credit control, including full ledger responsibility.
• A solid understanding of credit control processes (court letter experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills to build strong client relationships.
• The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage a busy workload.
• Experience using Sage (desirable but not essential).

COMPANY BENEFITS
You’ll enjoy fantastic working conditions, including:
• Salary of £25,000 – £27,000 (dependent on experience).
• 37.5-hour working week (Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, with flexibility).
• Onsite parking.
• A welcoming, collaborative, and supportive team culture.
• A structured training programme to develop and grow your skills.

If you’re an experienced Credit Controller looking for a fresh challenge with a supportive employer, we’d love to hear from you – apply today!
