Crynodeb
As a Class 1 Low Loader Driver, you will play a vital role in our clients tight-knit operations team by ensuring timely and safe plant to job sites. The position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to learn and progress within the heavy Haulage Sector of the industry.
Duties
Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to transport plant and occasionally materials to job sites.
Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload customers machinery as required, ensuring thorough chaining techniques are applied.
Competent use of PDA/Tablet to receive jobs and record photographic evidence on collection and delivery.
Effective communication with site supervisors and transport office.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies whilst out on the road.
Requirements
Valid Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and a CE driving licence entitlement.
NPORS & CSCS Desirable
Proven Experience as a Low Loader driver within Plant hire, construction or related fields preferable.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A flexible approach to working hours and potential over nights
In return, our client offers an hourly salary between £15 - £18 per hour.
Hours of work Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm + optional overtime available
