The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a Catering & Events Assistant to join the Commercial Team at The Garden Café at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage in Shottery.
This is a part-time permanent role working an average of 9 hours a week, 6 hours in Week 1 and 12 hours in Week 2. The Garden Café is open between Monday and Sunday, you will need to be available to work weekends and weekdays.
You will be responsible for the preparation and service of food and drink for internal and external customers and events. All aspects of catering duties will be involved, ensuring every opportunity is taken to maximise sales.
To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in a busy cafe or restaurant, you will be motivated to deliver excellent customer service. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with other staff in a professional manner as well as able to work on your own initiative.
