The Team Leader – Locality Manager Community Care reports to the Executive Manager- Community Care Resources and is a member of the service management team. The Team Leader provides information and advice to the Executive Manager to support service and directorate decision taking and the provision of support to Elected Members in determining the Council’s overall strategic objectives and priorities.
Manage the locality based community care resources and the customer focussed, efficient and effective delivery of services in accordance with the Council’s values, objectives, targets and statutory obligations. This includes the following functions: residential and support services for adults.
Provide professional advice to the Executive Manager with respect to the development, planning and delivery of services to ensure the Council fulfils all statutory requirements and implements relevant policies in respect of these services.

- The grade of this post is L
- Salary shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £2,859 per annum (pro rata)
- Permanent Full Time post for 37.0 Hours per Week , 52.18 weeks per year
- Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made
- The successful candidate will have to complete registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) when they begin in post
- A relocation package does apply to this post
