About the role

A newly launched 2-year fixed-term role within Bury Council’s SEND services offers a unique chance to drive meaningful and lasting improvements in the delivery of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) across the borough.

This pivotal position will provide expert oversight and dedicated operational support to enhance the EHCP journey for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. You'll be working at the heart of a transformative SEND serviceone that is making tangible strides through innovation, collaborative partnerships, and a renewed focus on quality and timeliness.

As part of Bury’s statutory SEND services, you’ll contribute to reshaping processes, promoting co-production, and building inclusive practices that align with national standards and local aspirations.

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
