Are you a highly organised, proactive, and people-focused professional looking to make a real difference in a school setting?
The Kingsway School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to lead our busy school office and ensure the smooth and efficient running of all administrative and operational functions.
This is a key role within our school, supporting staff, pupils, parents, and senior leaders while managing the daily logistics that keep our school running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day running of the school office, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment
Line-manage office staff and oversee their workload and performance
Lead on key administrative areas including admissions, school trips administration, ParentPay and FSM.
Act as a key point of contact for parents, visitors, contractors, and the wider school community
Work closely with the Headteacher and SLT on operational planning, diary management, and communication
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in office or business management (school experience highly desirable)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong IT skills and experience using school management systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, or equivalent)
A calm, professional manner with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
A strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
A flexible, can-do attitude and commitment to the values of our school community
