Postgraduate qualification and any one of the relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, PGDE, AFHEA or equivalent)
As part of the eligibility criteria for this role, we require candidates to have completed the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules.
If you have not yet completed these modules, don't worry - we are happy to support you in obtaining them. You will be provided with direct access to the required training materials. The training costs approximately £210 (One time Payment), and successful completion is necessary prior to commencing the role.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, which can serve as a valuable addition to your professional profile. This certification is widely recognised and can strengthen your CV when applying for roles that support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions.

What will you be responsible for:You will provide individualised study skills support to neurodiverse students, fostering their academic success and independence. This involves creating supportive learning plans, implementing effective teaching strategies, and building strong rapport with students.
Specifically the activities will be:- Developing and delivering tailored study skills programs
- Providing individual and group tutoring sessions
- Collaborating with university staff and support services
- Monitoring student progress and adapting strategies as needed Experience
Relevant experience supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, or other neurodiverse conditions is preferred, but not mandatory. A commitment to person-centred care and a passion for helping students reach their full potential are essential.
