Salary: £27,300 – £36,400 per year + excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent, choose amount of contracted hours that suit you from 37 up to 50 hours per week
Shifts: Days only, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Are you a compassionate and experienced care professional ready to lead and inspire others? We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join a well-respected residential care home in Guildford, specialising in elderly care.
About the Role:
As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll lead a team of carers on shift, ensure the well-being of residents, and promote a safe, supportive, and dignified environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise a team of care staff during day shifts
• Administer medication safely and in line with training and policy (must be medication trained)
• Promote and maintain high standards in line with CQC regulations and safeguarding practices
• Support with care planning, risk assessments, and accurate handovers
• Act as a positive role model, supporting team development and a strong care culture
• Assist the management team with audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• Previous experience in a similar senior care or team leader role within a residential or nursing care setting
• Confident in managing teams and ensuring compliance
• Medication administration training essential
• Sound understanding of safeguarding and CQC standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for delivering exceptional care to older adults
