We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, experienced registered mental health nurses. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills.

As a Bank Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to service users without direct supervision. You will coordinate and support care delivered by colleagues, ensuring it aligns with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and upholds the highest standards of clinical excellence.

In this role, you will provide continuous observation and care to patients with complex mental health needs or those experiencing significant psychological distress, including individuals at risk of harm to themselves or others. You will deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at reducing agitation and distress, while promoting independence, dignity, and recovery. A key aspect of your role will be identifying individual factors that influence a patient's agitation or distress and tailoring interventions accordingly, always adhering to the principles of least restriction.

You may also be expected to undertake clinical supervision of junior staff, coordinate shifts, and complete assigned clinical duties as part of a multidisciplinary team. In all aspects of your work, you will promote a safe and supportive environment, upholding the dignity, human rights, and individual needs of every service user through the application of compassionate, person-centred care. You will need to be an adaptable and conscientious individual; one who is willing to work flexibly and in direct response to the ever-changing demands of an acute hospital.
