We are looking for a full-time enthusiastic band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Inpatient team for a fixed term maternity cover position. We may consider part-time for the right candidate.

The post sits within the Medical, Endocrine, Respiratory and Renal Team (known as MERRIT). We are looking for a highly skilled Physiotherapist who demonstrates a passion for delivering high quality assessment and treatments.

The post includes involvement in the in service training rota as well as clinical supervision of both therapy staff and students.

Participation in the on call respiratory out of hours service and weekend respiratory, orthopaedic and discharge rotas will be expected.

The post holder will
• work with a diverse range of inpatients, many with complex conditions.
• deliver comprehensive assessment, re-assessment, treatment planning and delivery of treatments
• be a skilled communicator
• demonstrate clear clinical reasoning when prioritising their caseload
• be willing to supporting colleagues
• participate in the out of hours respiratory on call rota.

The Inpatient Therapy Team is welcoming and friendly with both more recent joiners and many long established colleagues who have progressed through the team - in some instances from support workers to Senior registered roles. We encourage professional development and this begins when you join us when we offer you a strong induction programme, opportunity to participate in the established preceptorship programme, and regular in-house training.
