Summary
Parmley Technologies are a world leading supplier of Electronic Control Panels, Electrical Harness, and Hand Held Controllers for use in Harsh environments

About the role:
• Support and/or lead small to medium sized Design Team on projects from concept through to design and production release.
• Support the production of the equipment through life, and implement production design improvement solutions to solve current product issues in manufacturing, material supply and at the customer.
• Assist with cost reduction projects that require R&D input.
• Provide R&D support including proto type development on customer specific tenders.
All employees have a responsibility:

• to ensure and promote safe working conditions for all employees, visitors and contractors by implementing, monitoring and complying with occupational health & safety provisions
Approximately 5 people in Design team, based in North Shields , with 25 people in production on the same site
Education/Qualifications:
• Degree qualified or equivalent in mechanical engineering or mechanical design
• Experience of 3D Autocad Inventor (or similar) is desirable
Related Experience:
• Design experience in either electro/mechanical enclosures including sealing for harsh environments is desirable
Skills, Special Competencies
• Experience in designing machined aluminium boxes - desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and team orientation
• Demonstrated track record of consistently delivering goals on time
