Veterinary Surgeon – Grimsby

Enjoy a competitive salary of up to £70,000 DOE, with rent free modern accommodation available if required to help you settle in stress free and in style
Join a well-equipped independent practice with cutting edge tech like MRI, CT, advanced ultrasound, and endoscopy, where almost no cases are referred externally
Grow your skills with full clinical support, a highly experienced team, and the opportunity to earn a fully funded Certificate – plus a £10,000 pay rise upon completion
Be part of a thriving, supportive environment in beautiful Lincolnshire, where career development and a fulfilling work-life balance go hand in hand

Nestled between the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds and the coast, this thriving independent small animal practice is the perfect destination for a Veterinary Surgeon who wants more—more support, more learning, and more opportunity. With a team of 10 experienced vets and over 25 skilled RVNs and students, this is a collaborative, forward thinking environment where veterinary professionals are empowered to thrive and grow.

This isn’t just another first opinion role. With incredible facilities including MRI, CT, DR, advanced ultrasound, and endoscopy (including arthroscopy), almost no cases are externally referred. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse, advanced caseload while receiving full clinical support from colleagues who genuinely want to see you succeed. The practice features separate dog, cat and exotic wards, over 40 hospital kennels, and an isolation unit—making it a hub for both routine care and complex medical management.

Professional development is a priority here. If you're looking to pursue a Certificate, the practice will fully fund it, allow course attendance during work time, and even offer a £10,000 annual pay rise upon completion. Whether your interests lie in cardiology, internal medicine, imaging, or ophthalmology, you’ll be surrounded by Certificate holders and mentors ready to guide and teach you.

This is a rare opportunity to join a welcoming, ambitious team where you’ll be given everything you need to become the vet you aspire to be while working in a beautiful part of the country with an exceptional quality of life!
