We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Warehouse Supervisor to support the Warehouse Manager in the daily operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will help ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met while working to improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and update inventory using the Infor system
Coordinate logistics through the Transport Portal and other networking platforms
Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers
Handle and resolve queries in a timely and efficient manner
Operate warehouse equipment including forklift trucks (FLT), pallet trucks, and cranes
Assist with wrapping and weighing using the weighbridge, as required
Train and mentor new team members to ensure consistent onboarding and performance
Identify opportunities for process improvement to boost productivity
Provide cover for the Warehouse Manager during absences
Conduct regular stock checks and ensure inventory accuracy
Maintain a strong commitment to health & safety and compliance with company policies
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Confident with numeracy and literacy tasks
Highly self-motivated with a drive to achieve results
Able to work independently and take initiative
Solid general IT proficiency
Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and priorities
This is a straight permanent position working daytime hours
