Room Leader – Baby Room | £32,000 | 40 Hours | Level 3 Early Years | Ofsted Good Nursery

Are you a nurturing and confident early years professional with a passion for leading high-quality care in a baby room setting?

Our client, a well-established nursery, rated Good by Ofsted, is looking for a Room Leader to take the lead in their baby room. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership role and is ready to inspire and support both children and their team.

Set in a beautiful nursery with a large garden and soft play areas, the nursery offers a calm, caring, and inclusive environment where both children and staff can flourish.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
  • Experience working in a baby room or with under-twos in an early years setting
  • Confidence in leading a team and supporting the development of others
  • Excellent understanding of the EYFS and child development
  • A warm, inclusive approach and genuine love for working with young children
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily practice in the baby room, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
  • Model high-quality interactions and responsive care
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Build warm, trusted relationships with babies, parents, and carers
  • Support the development of room staff through role modelling and mentoring
  • Maintain accurate observations and assessments for key children
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health, and hygiene are upheld
