Are you a nurturing and confident early years professional with a passion for leading high-quality care in a baby room setting?
Our client, a well-established nursery, rated Good by Ofsted, is looking for a Room Leader to take the lead in their baby room. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership role and is ready to inspire and support both children and their team.
Set in a beautiful nursery with a large garden and soft play areas, the nursery offers a calm, caring, and inclusive environment where both children and staff can flourish.
What You’ll Bring:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
- Experience working in a baby room or with under-twos in an early years setting
- Confidence in leading a team and supporting the development of others
- Excellent understanding of the EYFS and child development
- A warm, inclusive approach and genuine love for working with young children
- Strong communication and organisational skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily practice in the baby room, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Model high-quality interactions and responsive care
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Build warm, trusted relationships with babies, parents, and carers
- Support the development of room staff through role modelling and mentoring
- Maintain accurate observations and assessments for key children
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health, and hygiene are upheld
