Are you from a background in care, support work, or social services? Have you worked with children, young people, or adults with challenging behaviour, mental health needs, or additional support requirements? If so, your skills could be the perfect fit for a role in a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) school.

We're recruiting two dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming SEMH school in Grantham, part of a highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust committed to inclusion and support. This school works with young people aged 5-16 who need a calm, consistent, and understanding environment to thrive.

If you're ready for a September 2025 start, or looking a little further ahead, we have opportunities available for both.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

- Using your experience to help manage behaviour and de-escalate situations calmly
- Providing structure and emotional support during the school day
- Supporting inclusion across classroom and outdoor learning sessions

Who We're Looking For:
- Essential: Experience working with challenging behaviour, trauma, or mental health - from education, social work, residential care, youth offending, or similar roles
- A compassionate and resilient approach to supporting young people
- A strong communicator and committed team player
- Someone open to learning and adapting within a school environment

Why Join Through Long Term Futures?
- Flexible start dates: ASAP or secure a place for September
- Pathway to a permanent position in a highly supportive school
