Our client, a forward-thinking educational institution in Derby, Derbyshire, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistant to join their supportive team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

As a Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of each student. You will be responsible for providing personalised support to students with a range of SEND, adapting teaching materials and resources to meet their individual needs and learning styles.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience working with children and young people with SEND. You should have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with additional needs and be skilled in implementing effective strategies to support their learning and well-being. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and maintaining accurate records of student progress.

In return for your dedication and expertise, our client offers a competitive salary of £95 - £105 per day, along with ongoing professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with teachers to plan and deliver differentiated lessons and activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
