Jack, a 22 year old with a lively fun personality, requires a female or male Personal Assistant. He has a Neurological Disability, and lives in the Airdrie area. He enjoys a good laugh, music and comedy shows.

We are looking for a PA who is energetic, forward planning and who will develop new and interesting opportunities for Jack.

The role is to support Jack to meet new friends, try a variety of community groups, and enjoy his hobbies and interests.

Being an animal lover, his favourite places to visit are; Deep Sea World, Blair Drummond Safari Park and Edinburgh Zoo.

Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
· Attending to personal care needs of toileting including bowel movements
· Medication
· Cooking and preparing healthy snacks
· Walking, football one to one, bowling, going to places of interest, clothes shopping, community groups and out for food
· Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living

The most important qualities are an outgoing, warm and friendly nature.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

Driver with a Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential and you will be driving a manual Motability vehicle.

Relevant care experience and knowledge of Autism & ADHD is essential.

Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)
Recruiting for 1 position.
Guaranteed permanent position of 33 hours per week.

Days and Times:
Mon to Fri: 11am – 4pm, Saturday or Sunday:10am – 6pm.
Weekend days to be confirmed and discussed at interview.

Hourly Rate:
£13.00 per hour
