Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, and a proactive approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Invoice Processing:
o Processing accounts payable invoices, matching them to purchase orders.
o Preparing and processing accounts receivable invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
o Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Data Entry and Record Keeping:
o Accurately entering financial data into accounting software
o Maintaining organised and up-to-date financial records, both physical and digital.
o Filing and archiving financial documents as required.
• Bank Reconciliation:
o Assisting with daily and monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any variances.
• General Administrative Support:
o Providing general administrative support to the finance department as needed (e.g., managing correspondence, scheduling meetings).
o Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects.

Skills and Qualifications:
o Proven experience in an accounts administration, finance assistant, or similar role.
o Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
o Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
o Good written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Proactive and problem-solving attitude.
o High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
