What you’ll be doing
Lead high‑impact projects across DK globally, ensuring our strategy aligns with our mission and long‑term goals
Provide structure and strategic direction to solve ambiguous business challenges and translate ideas into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
Deliver clear, data‑driven insights and business cases through rigorous analysis and market research
Drive implementation by working hand‑in‑hand with editors, marketers, technologists, finance and operations to turn recommendations into action
Integrate AI and digital innovation into business processes while staying flexible as priorities evolve
Serve as a thought partner to the CSO, CEO and leadership team and facilitate decision‑making
Mentor and develop colleagues, fostering a culture of learning, experimentation and high performance
Represent DK in global forums and cross‑divisional committees, sharing best practices and strengthening relationships across Penguin Random House and Bertelsmann
Required experience & skills
Proven experience leading high-impact strategic projects from conception to execution, either in a management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar role. Sector experience in publishing or another creative industry is highly desirable but not a must
Track record of leading complex, cross‑functional projects from ideation through execution and delivering measurable results
Strong analytical, market analysis and financial‑modelling skills, with the ability to synthesise data into compelling narratives and recommendations
Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies (particularly AI) and experience integrating them into business processes
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels, from creatives to executives
A growth mindset -innovative, adaptable, resilient and commercially savvy
A collaborative and inclusive approach to leadership, with the ability to inspire and build consensus among diverse stakeholders and project teams
Degree in business, economics, data science or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
