As a Senior Technology Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for team performance and the delivery of complex technology products and services over one or more teams. You will set up your teams for success and represent them to stakeholders and suppliers, building successful relationships across and beyond the organisation. You will find and remove blockers and inefficiencies, using data to continually push for better ways of working, leading to better outcomes.

As a senior member of the Home Office Technology Delivery community, you’ll share knowledge and experience with colleagues across the department and wider Government, building skills and applying good practice and standards.

You will support the UK’s security and prosperity through the products and services that you help to deliver.

Due to business requirements this post is available on a full time/flexible working basis. Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. Where this is the case, employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in the office. Applicants can raise any queries to the email address at the bottom of the advert.

We value diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from the widest diversity of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. We encourage applications from women, people with disabilities and LGBT+ as they are currently under-represented in the Home Office at this grade level. Appointments will be made on merit based on fair and open competition.

The role responsibility will be to lead and coordinate the delivery of complex biometric integration projects within a high-profile government department. This pivotal role supports the transformation of migration and border services through the implementation of multi-modal biometric technologies.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple biometric projects, ensuring alignment across cross-cutting programmes and departments. Working closely with senior stakeholders, operational leads, and technical teams, you will drive delivery excellence, mitigate risks, and ensure that biometric solutions are integrated seamlessly into existing systems and processes or work across teams to build new if needed. You will work to ensure understanding of the biometric data flow across systems, engaging with other Portfolios as needed.
