Our client, who are a well-established family-owned business are recruiting for a Finance and Operations Manager to join their small team on a full time, permanent basis in Stroud.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business who pride themselves on long-standing customer relationships and an honest approach!
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the day to day financial and operational administration. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, conduct tasks to its completion and be adaptable to the demands of the business and have a flexible approach to change and prioritisation.
Responsibilities:
-Create and monitor daily movement records and cost allocation
-Generating monthly sales invoices, ensuring current units on and off hired
-Produce lease, rental agreements and appendices to both
-Asset finance documentation preparation
-Monthly cash flow forecasting
-Bank reconciliations and credit control
-Supplier payments and customer liaison
-Quarterly fillings where necessary
-Periodic management accounts
-Coordinating with Accountants on yearly accounts & filings
Candidate Attributes:
-Previous experience in a similar role
-Strong admin and organisational skills
-Great written and verbal communication
-Friendly, professional approach to customers and suppliers
-Computer literate (MS Office, Access, Word, Excel and Outlook)
Hours: Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
Salary: Up to £36,000 depending on experience + 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) + private healthcare Insurance + free parking
