What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a colleague who has:

• Knowledge of ICT applications used to support pupils in the classroom.
• Experience of working with young people, professionals and other agencies.
• Experience of selecting and preparing resources to support learning, including appropriate filing and presentation of pupils work.
• Abilityto use language and other communication skills that children can understand and relate to.
• Ability to provide specialist support to pupils with learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties.

This role is term time only with plus 5 training days and fixed term to 31st August 2026.

St Hild's Church of England School is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor/Senior Teaching Assistant to collaborate with teachers in planning and delivering programmes of teaching and learning activities for classes.The primary focus for this role is to undertake educational activities with individuals, groups or whole classes within a framework agreed with, and under the direction and supervision of, a qualified teacher.
