We are looking for an experienced Fitter to support a long-term installation project focused on chilled water systems. The role involves installing screwed iron pipework as the primary task, with some minor Mapress work required.
You'll be working from design drawings and supporting the connection of equipment as it is delivered to site. A separate SC-cleared contractor will be handling the larger installations, so we need someone reliable and hands-on to manage the day-to-day pipework connections on the ground.
Key Responsibilities- Install screwed iron pipework (main focus)
- Carry out minor Mapress installations
- Connect chilled water equipment as it arrives
- Work from provided design drawings
- Threading machines and Mapress tooling
- Full design documentation
- Accommodation arranged and covered if working away from home
- Proven experience with screwed iron and Mapress pipework
- Able to work independently and interpret technical drawings
- Comfortable working on live sites and coordinating with other contractors
- SC Clearance is critical - please only apply if already cleared
