Job Title: Lead Injection Moulding Technician

Location: Hull

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, optimise, and fine-tune injection moulding machines for peak performance


• Develop and implement robust processes to improve quality and efficiency


• Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects across production


• Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with production teams for quick resolutions


• Maintain accurate process documentation and uphold safety standards


• Assist with equipment maintenance and fault diagnosis


Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in injection moulding process engineering


• Strong knowledge of machine setup, optimisation, and fault-finding


• Practical maintenance skills and diagnostic capabilities


• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail


• Effective communication and teamwork skills


• IMT Level 3 or 4 qualification (or equivalent)


Desirable Skills

• Background in lean manufacturing or process improvement


• Formal engineering qualification (mechanical, manufacturing, or related field)


• Genuine interest in sustainable manufacturing and environmental innovation
